She is a member of Dance Masters of America and Dance Masters of Ohio. She also holds certification in acro-gymnastics, tap, ballet, and jazz as recognized through Dance Masters of America. Kristen is an active member of the Cecchetti Council of America and has achieved certification of the Intermediate Professional VI level as according to the Cecchetti Ballet system. Kristen has been named the acting Vice-President of the Cecchetti Council of Ohio.
All About Dance! By Kristen has hosted such events and workshops as DMO's Chapter 16 Closed Conventions, CCA of Ohio's Ballet Day, numerous national Cecchetti Ballet examinations as well as Stiletto Entertainment and Cleveland Gladiator auditions.
Miss Kristen's professional dance career includes performing on Holland America Cruise Lines as well as dance promos for touring professional shows and industrials around the Cleveland area. She stays very active as a dance student herself by attending weekly classes in Cecchetti Ballet and traditional jazz with Miss Dee Hillier. In addition, Ms. Messner enjoys keeping up with the latest styles of dance teaching technique by attending numerous dance conventions and workshops around the nation pertaining to the enhancement of dance education. In the past few years, she attended the Dance Life Teacher Conferences throughout the country, where she studied under such greats as Joe Tremaine, Finus Jhung, Jo Rowan and Gregg Russell.
For nearly two decades, Kristen attended and then graduated from Dance Masters of America National Teacher's Training School at the University of Buffalo in New York. She also attended the Cecchetti Council of America's National Teacher Training Seminar last summer held in Hope, Michigan. As a youth, Kristen was an Ohio State champion gymnast during her years as a member of the Cuyahoga Falls YWCA Gymnastics Team.
Miss Kristen is an alumnus of Kent State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree with honors in Behavioral Sciences. Kristen is excited to find her new home back in Kent, Ohio. While away from the studio she finds a moment to dabble in an occasional job with The Talent Group in Pittsburgh, PA as well as decorating her home, shopping!, traveling and spending time with her family, the littlest Lauren and her kitties Chlo-wi and Ollie!
Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Competition Jazz Instructor
Desmond’s technical dance history just began about three years ago when he first enrolled at the University of Akron where he majored in Dance/ Buisness.
Originally from Cleveland, Desmond began dancing is his middle school and high school show choir. Desmond won many awards at various show choir competitions in and out of Ohio, including outstanding performer, most dynamite performer, and best male soloist. In spring of 2007 at the University Desmond was awarded a dance scholarship from one of the dance faculty members. Desmond’s first self choreography piece “State of Circumstances” was chosen to be apart of The University of Akron’s Dance Company Fall performances. The piece was modern/ contemporary dance, and was about everyday emotions, and breaking points in life.
Each fall semester faculty members choose a students work which they feel will fit best in the faculty show. Akron News Now.com wrote, “ Once intermission started, the crowd looked and found that it was a student who choreographed the dance. The audience was surprised that a student could create something so professional. "State of Circumstances" was perfect.”
While in college Desmond has performed with the University of Akron Dance Company and various students works. He is also a member of the Akron based hip-hop group ILL’U’SYN. This group performs all around the Akron, Canton, and Cleveland area but has also traveled to New York, Florida, and Nashville for various hip-hop competitions. ILL’U’SYN has been seen on BET’s 106 & Park, BET’s Spring Bling, and BET’s Blaze the Stage. Desmond specializes in Hip-Hop but also studies ballet, modern, tap, jazz, african dance, and jazz phunk. Desmond was given the titled of Artistic Director at his studio in Canton Ohio “The Turning Pointe School of Dance.”
In 2010 Desmond taught & judged for "Dance Masters of Ohio" & has also taught classes for the "Cecchetti Council of Ohio for the past 2 years. Desmond now does some choreography for the University of Akron's Dance Team, Marietta College Dance Team, Minerva high school dance team, Stow High School Show Choir and teaches dance at various studios and cities across the state of Ohio.
Competition, Jazz, Lyrical & Tap Instructor
Brittany had studied dance for over 17 years and has been teaching for 6 years. She has studied under Jen Naso, Kathie Nejman, and Dee Hiller. Brittany is also accomplished in the areas of tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, ballet, acro, and character jazz. During her years of dancing and teaching at Dance Dimensions, she competed on the jazz, tap, and acro company’s earning 3 straight Ohio State Tap Dance Championships. She has also taken classes from multiple studios across Ohio and in New York City at Broadway Dance Center. Additionally, Brittany has taken classes from multiple instructors at the American College Dance Festival Association at Ohio University and the Rockette Summer Intensive at Point Park University.
Brittany has recently concluded teaching dance education at Twinsburg High School and the Child Development Center at Kent State University. Brittany is currently studying Dance Education and Hospitality Management at Kent State University.

Miss Jaime has been a wonderful asset to the AAD staff for the past nine seasons. Since taking her first dance class at the age of four, dance has been an important part of her life.
As a child, she studied at a variety of area studios, and began to teach dance while attending Bowling Green State University. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations in 1982, Miss Jaime worked as the Development Director for Ohio Ballet, a professional ballet company with home seasons in Akron and Cleveland.
Miss Jaime and her husband, Scott, have lived in Kent since 1995 and have three children: Rachel 21, Brett, 20 and Brooke, 16. In her spare time, she serves as an advisor to the United Youth Fellowship, a high school youth group, and is the Liturgical Dance Director at the Kent United Church of Christ.

Miss Emily is very excited to be returning to the staff of All About Dance! as an instructor. Miss Emily has been dancing since the age of three. She has been a part of All About Dance! as a student and a student assistant for fourteen years.
Emily performed on AADbK’s national award winning competition teams for nine years. She has successfully completed her Cecchetti level V examination and is currently working on her level VI.
Miss Emily stays active in dance by attending weekly dance classes in tap, jazz and ballet. She also attends local dance workshops and conventions. Last summer, she attended the DanceLife teacher's conference in Disney World, with several other instructors, where she studied from Gregg Russell, Joe Tremaine, Joe Lanteri, and Jo Rowan. She is very excited to incorporate all of the new ideas she learned about at this great conference.
Emily graduated from Stow Munroe Falls High School in 2008. She is currently attending Kent State University and is working toward a major in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Education. Miss Emily enjoys spending time with her friends and family in her spare time — especially her “cuddle-bug” nephew, Aiden!

Miss Danielle has been a part of All About Dance! by Kristen for sixteen years. She has participated as an AADBK student assistant for six years and been teaching classes of her own for seven years.
Miss Danielle has competed as a member of our own award-winning AADBK Competition Team for three years. Danielle was a member of the Stow-Munroe Falls High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad for all four years of high school. As a member of the 2003-04 Varsity Cheerleading Competition Team, Danielle traveled to Columbus, Ohio where their team claimed the honor of National Champions in the Cheer Power National Competition.
Miss Danielle graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School in 2006 and graduated from Kent State University in May 2010, where she majored in Fashion Merchandising. July of 2007, she went with the rest of the competition teams to National Dance Week in Columbus, Ohio where the team placed 5th overall. She has traveled to Arizona and Disney World for the DanceLife Teacher Conferences. She also has traveled to Chicago where she attended The Pulse Dance Convention and to Buffalo to attend the Teacher Training Seminar. One of her past competition seasons she received a special choreography award for her "Funky Masquerade" piece.
Miss Danielle has studied under and taken classes from Joe Tremaine, Geo Hubela, Mia Michaels, Dave Scott, Laurie Anne Gibson, Tyce Dirorio, Joe Lanteri, Wade Robson, Tony Bellissimo, Cris Judd and Brian Friedman, just to name a few. Miss Danielle is the freshmen cheerleading coach at Stow Munroe Falls High School and works as a member of the Ulta Beauty team at the new Ulta store in Stow. Miss Danielle has choreographed for cheer and dance teams all of Ohio. She stays very active in dance by attending weekly classes in jazz, hip-hop, and acro as well as attending other local dance workshops.

Miss Gloria enjoys being a member of the All About Dance Staff very much.
Miss Gloria was a Tap, Ballet and Pointe dancer from the age of five through college. She has performed in various musical theatre and opera productions during her career. One of her favorite roles was Suzanna in the opera, The Marriage of Figaro.
Miss Gloria holds a B.A. in Music Education and Theatre Arts and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance. She has been a music instructor for the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District for over 20 years and for the Fine Arts Association in Willoughby for over 22 years.
Tap, Jazz and Acro Instructor
Miss Brittany has been a student at All About Dance! for 9 years. She is very excited to be an instructor for this season. She has been a student assistant all through her middle school and high school years. Brittany has preformed on the competition teams at AADBK for three years. She is very excited to say that she received her certificate for her Cecchetti Grade V. Miss Brittany is recently working on her Cecchetti level VI examination.
She keeps active by taking classes at the studio, including Jazz, Hip-Hop, Cecchetti VI, Pointe, Acro, and Tap. Brittany graduated high school in 2009 from Field high school. She enjoys spending time with her chihuahua puppy, Pixie! She is excited to be a sophomore at Kent state University.
Brittany has high hopes for this season of dance and hopes she makes an impact on the young dancers.
Mary Beth (Brimlow) Handschumacher is very excited to be teaching the art of baton twirling again this year.
Mary Beth began her twirling career at the age of 9 with The Stow Royal Paraders, instructed by Tanya Carmack Huber. Mary Beth competed in the National Baton Twirling Association (NBTA) on the Stow Royal Paraders Twirling Team for 3 years. She had the honor of twirling throughout Costa Del Sol Spain with the Stow Royal Paraders in 1985.
From there MaryBeth went on to concentrate on her love of individual baton twirling with Vicki & Tawny Broadbent in East Liverpool, Ohio. Mary Beth competed individually on a local, State, Regional and National level for 15 years. While in high school she performed at different events including the University of Akron, Ohio State Basketball games, local events and fairs.
Mary Beth was also selected as one of two Feature Twirlers for the Ohio State Fair Honor Band 1988-89 where she performed for three weeks throughout the Ohio State Fair in the summer.
After high school was the highlight of Mary Beth's twirling career when she was selected as one of two Feature Twirlers for Michigan State University's Spartan Marching Band in East Lansing, Michigan from 1991-95. Mary Beth performed one, two and three baton with the Spartan Marching Band in front of 75,000 fans every home game, several Big Ten away games and bowl games & MSU basketball games each year.
Mary Beth earned her Bachelors degree from MSU in Audiology and Speech Sciences in 1995. Mary Beth still goes back and twirls for Alumni Band in the fall in front of the crowd of 75,000.
During college Mary Beth competed in the Miss Ohio prelims where she received several 10's for her dance-twirl routines. She also received her NBTA judges license. She teaches private lessons, a twirling camps/clinics, judges twirling competitions on a State, Regional and National level, and College tryouts.
Mary Beth is Vice President of her family business, Brimlow Benefits Agency, here in Stow. Mary Beth resides in Stow with her husband Tyson and two daughters Laney (6)starting her 4th yr of dance, and Lauren (3), starting her 1st year of dance.

Miss Ginniann is excited to see her students excel in her 12th season as a choreographer/instructor for All About Dance by Kristen.
Miss Ginniann began her teaching career in Cumberland, Maryland nearly 23 years ago. As a member of a competition dance team, she performed with the world famous Radio City Rockettes, as well, was featured on a nationally televised show. In Freeport, Illinois, Miss Ginniann instructed dance for S&R Dance, which included competition jazz, tap and clogging teams. Based on her experience, she was the leading force as AADBK debuted competition jazz and tap teams during the 1999- 2000 dance season.
In 2004, Miss Ginniann coached a team to a national victory at the Dynamite National Talent Competition in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2007, she again coached a team to a national victory at the Encore Talent Productions Competition in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Her love for competitive dance continues to grow and, today, her passion is very evident with the competition teams that she coaches in statewide competitive dance productions. During the 2009 season, Miss Ginniann was recognized by other teaching professionals/judges for her outstanding choreography. She received the Choreography Award at the Dynamite Competition in Warren for Boyfriend/Girlfriend. She received the Choreography Award at the State Dance Championships in Columbus for O-H-I-O. Most recently, she received the Judges' Choice Award at Beyond the Stars Competition in Akron for Last Day of School.
Miss Ginniann will be teaching Kinder classes, Beginning, Junior, Intermediate and Advanced Tap, also Competition Tap and Competition Munchkin Jazz Teams.
Miss Ginniann stays active attending various dance conventions throughout the country such as Robert Christopher Professional Teacher's Seminars, Dupree Dance Expo, Joel Hall Dance, and Stepp Stewart's Stepp with Me Convention. She has studied and completed Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School Level II in Buffalo, New York. She stays involved in researching the latest dance steps from premier dance professionals throughout the United States.
Miss Ginniann is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her husband, Ed and their children, Tobin and McGee. Miss Ginniann asked to say thank you to all of her students and their parents for their continued support, as well as, for them allowing her to be a part of their lives through dance.
Miss Gwen starting dancing at the age of three. She took dance at Franklin School of Dance in Kent, Ohio for thirteen years.
Miss Gwen took jazz, tap, gymnastics, and beginner ballet classes. Miss Kristin was her teacher for some of these years. Next, she became an instructor at Karen's Dance Academy in Manua, Ohio for nine years. There she taught jazz, tap, gymnastics and beginner baton. For two of those years she also assisted in instructing a large group pom-pom dance competition team. Along with teaching dance at Karen's Dance Academy at this time, while attending college, Miss Gwen choreographed a large group performance for a Greek Campus Life Songfest event at Kent State. She did this for three consecutive years and the performance earned first or second place each year.
Miss Gwen loves to dance, but tap has always been her favorite to learn and teach! Miss Gwen graduated from Stow High School and Kent State University two times. She earned a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Reading. She currently is a 2nd grade teacher at Walls Elementary School in Kent, Ohio. She has been teaching in the Kent City School system for eleven years.
Miss Gwen is married and has two children; Olivia age five and Gabe age three. Much of her free time is spent with her family. She also enjoys shopping, traveling, playing volleyball and gardening. This is Miss Gwen's first year as an assistant at All About Dance. She is very excited about this opportunity and to be doing something that she loves!

Miss Beth is thrilled & blessed to be a part of the wonderful All About Dance by Kristen family.
Miss Beth took her very first dance class at the age of 10 and then quickly gained momentum in her dance career over the next 16 years. Miss Beth's credentials during those years include:
- 8 years as an Instructor of Jazz, Tap, & Ballet at the Dona Del Dixon School of Dance (6 years being right-hand man to Ms. Dixon)
- Performed in numerous productions & special events in the Akron & Cleveland area
- Musical Theater performances include Music Man, and Gypsy with The Player's Guild Theater of Canton.
After taking a 7 years hiatus, Miss Beth joined AADbK as an adult student. Since being a part of AADbK, Miss Beth has taken on several responsibilities such as Instructor Assistant, costume & stage prop designer/creator, special events studio photographer/web designer, and technical production resource.
Miss Beth is an Archbishop Hoban High School, Class of '87 Alumni. She has also earned her B.S. in Electronic Engineering, minor in Marketing and Sales and certifications in Management and Supervision Technology from University of Akron. Most recently, Miss Beth has earned her certification with I.P.C. in Program Management. Over the past 20 years, Miss Beth has held several technical positions including Test & Repair Technician, Applications Engineer, Sales Engineer, and her most recent position of Regional Account Manager for a National Electronics Distributor. She also holds the position of Kindergarten CCD instructor for Christian Education at St. Patrick's Parish in Kent.
Miss Beth and her husband Jim live in Brimfield with their 2 children Elek & Ilona, pony - Mickey, dogs Barrack & Tiara, cats Oscar, Bolt, Flower, & Pepper, rabbits Tornado & Fluffy, turtle - Turbo and fish. Her hobbies include: keeping way too busy having fun with her family, making all kinds of creations, traveling across the USA, having movie night, watching her husband sing with his band, and dancing at AADbK!! The best thing about being a part of AADbK is sharing the moment with students who finally master the step or combination that they have been working so hard on getting right and realizing that all the hard work and determination DID pay off!
Tap, Ballet, Jazz & Pre-School Instructor

Ms. Cheryl is a veteran instructor of over 40 years and has motivated, educated and inspired hundreds of students. She took her first dance steps around the age of 4 and was trained in Tap, Classical Ballet and Jazz.
Being raised in a family of professional performers and teachers she was exposed to many facets of the Performing Arts but soon found her passion for teaching at the age of 15. She has since dedicated herself to learning the "art" of teaching not just what to dance, but how and why, with a little history thrown in.
Cheryl has owned her own successful studio where many of her students have gone on to higher education dance programs, became teachers themselves or in related fields. In addition to her studio work, she has taught dance and choreographed for a large variety of venues and has choreographed shows such as 42nd Street and Cabaret for community theater. She taught recreational Jazz and Ballet classes at Kent State and also designed and taught a Children's Program for them.
Ms. Cheryl feels privileged to have expanded her knowledge throughout the years by studying with many of the great master teachers of our time such as the late Gus Giardano, Danny Hoctor & Betty Byrd, Luigi, Art & Jules Stone, Ruth Pryor of the Ballet Russe and more recently Tony Locascio of the famed "Tap Dogs". She continues to hone her teaching skills and keep current of educational trends by attending 'teacher specific' conventions and workshops whenever possible. She most recently attended Dance Life Teacher Conferences in Arizona and last year in Florida.
Cheryl received her teaching certifications through Dance Masters of America at Kent State and is a graduate of the Teacher's Training School at SUNY, Buffalo. After retiring and closing her studio, Ms. Cheryl found she couldn't quite give up her passion and would like to thank Kristen for the opportunity to once again bring a wealth of experience to teaching the many wonderful students at All About Dance and is looking forward to her 6th season with great enthusiasm.
Ballet, Jazz & Acro Instructor
Miss Lea is extremely excited to be an instructor this dance season! She has been a part of All About Dance! for over ten years and has been a student assistant throughout her high school years.
She is proud to say that she has successfully completed her Cecchetti Grade Four Exam and will be working on her Grade Five this dance season. Miss Lea recently graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School, where she took part in National Honor Society and many other student organizations. She will be attending Kent State University in the fall with a major in Zoology and a minor in Climatology.
Miss Lea stays active by attending weekly classes in acro, hiphop, jazz, contemporary, and ballet at the studio. She also attends master classes whenever she can.
In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at animal rescue shelters and spending time with her family, friends, and numerous pets.

Caiti started dancing at age 6 and continued on for 10 years under the instruction of Cheryl Rauschenberger at A Step in Time School of Dance. During her time with Cheryl, she was introduced to many different aspects of dance including assisting the instructor and putting on full length productions.
After Cheryl’s retirement, Caiti moved on to Studio West Performing Arts Center under the direction of Mark and Erin Smith where she was a proud member of their Company for 7 years. While a member of The Company at SWPAC she had the opportunity to participate in a number of competitions, taking high gold and platinum awards on several occasions.
Caiti has taken numerous master classes from highly successful dancers including Anthony Locassio of the internationally acclaimed Tap Dogs, Dominic Sandoval, Jamie Goodwin and Jesus Solorio of So You Think You Can Dance and many others.
Caiti has been educated in many areas of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, modern and hip hop. She stays very active in the dance community by continuing her dance education at the studio as well as attending master classes when she has the opportunity.
Caiti is happily married to her “Prince Charming” and partner in crime Brandon who also shares a passion for the arts. Caiti is excited to be sharing her love of dance with you and your children and is thrilled to be joining the AADbK team!!

Christina Paskiet is very excited to return to AADBK this year! She has studied dance for over twenty years, and has taught for ten years. She began her dance career at seven years old with Richard Moore at Theatre Dance Centre, and was part of their award winning competition team for several years. She also danced and choreographed for the affiliated Theatre 8:15. Shows she participated in include "Bye Bye Birdie", "Jingle Bell Follies", "A Midnight Summer's Dream", and "Annie". Christina has been very fortunate to have the opportunity to train with many talented choreographers, including Dee Hillier, Stepp Stewart, Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio, Wade Robson, and Bob Rizzo. Christina is a graduate of the University of Akron, with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Education, and enjoys her teaching career very much! She is married to her loving husband, Dave, and they just had their first child, Lucas, in December. She is loving her new role as Mommy!
Kathie is excited to be a part of All About Dance by Kristen! Her teaching career spans nearly two decades, and although she has taught many dance styles, she specializes in tap and musical theater jazz. Kathie teaches and choreographs for many dance studios and competition teams throughout Northeast Ohio. Throughout the years, her competition numbers have earned numerous platinum, double platinum and first overall awards. Kathie is also a Choreographer and Director/Stager for Norwegian Cruise Lines in Florida and teaches, stages, and directs existing shows to new cast members and assists with installing the new casts on the ships. Kathie has been privileged to study with renowned teacher/choreographer Dee Hillier for the past 25+ years. She was also a member of the Dee Hillier Dance Company, where she performed in showcases, the televised Christmas lighting of Cleveland’s Public Square - “Tis The Season”, the opening of the Allen Theatre, various industrials and more. Kathie’s dance training also extends into the ballroom world. She was a professional ballroom dancer/instructor, where she competed in the professional division, as well as the pro/am division with her students. Kathie still teaches ballroom classes throughout the Cleveland area. Kathie is most proud of being a founder of “Dancing For A Miracle”, an annual performance that invites area dance studios to perform in a benefit for a local child afflicted with serious illness. The money raised is donated to the child and his/her family to help offset the many expenses associated with the disease. Since its inception in 2006, “Dancing For A Miracle” has raised over $40,000, and has helped lighten the burden for some very special families.
Cecchetti Ballet Instructor
Elaine Park, founder of Trumbull Dance Studio is a lifelong student of dance. When she was in her teens, she was a member of the Warren Civic Ballet Company, where she performed the role of Swanhilda in the ballet, Coppelia, and as a Sister in Cinderella. Her early training was under the direction of Bess Newton Brown, Arita Lee Blair, Michael Lopazonski, and Dance Masters Teachers Training School. She is certified to teach and is a member of Dance Masters of America, Ohio Dance Masters, and the Cecchetti Council of America, with a professional Teaching Certificate of Grade VI.
In recent years, she has choreographed for community and college theater productions, has been a competition judge, beauty pageant judge, and coordinator for fashion shows. Ms. Park's dancers have performed for many civic events, such as Dicker Days, The Car Show, Chili Cook-Off, and many benevolent functions. Ms. Park is currently a board member of Ohio Dance Masters and Treasurer for the Ohio Cecchetti Committee. Alicia Smith, National Dance Week's Ohio Delegate is a licensed ballet teacher through the Cecchetti Council of America, certified in Ballet, Tap and Jazz through Dance Masters of America and a national award-winning choreographer. Also an Artistic Program Director and Judge, Ms. Alicia is a member of the New York City Tap Festival's on-site staff and a recipient of The American Tap Dance Foundation's prestigious National Tap Teacher of the Year award. As a Master Instructor, Ms Alicia has been featured in Dance Teacher Magazine's Honors List recognizing top Dance Educators. Many of her students have received awards nationally and internationally as well as college scholarships recognizing excellence in dance. She is a professional member of the Cecchetti International Classical Ballet organization, Dance Masters of America, the International Tap Association, the American Fitness and Aerobics Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has taught in numerous venues including the American College Dance Festival and FlipFest, the gymnastics training ground for past and future Olympians. A seasoned Professional Performer, she has appeared in a myriad of shows in iconic venues like the world famous Cotton Club and with popular culture celebrities such as Ms. Lauryn Hill.
