Laney began dancing at three years old. She trained at All About Dance by Kristen for fifteen years, and danced competitively for fourteen them. During her time as a student at the studio she was a Student Assistant for five years. Some of her greatest accomplishments were attending and completing three summers of Cecchetti of Ohio's ballet training camp in Michigan on scholarships, as well as her Pro Reveler faculty assistant scholarships at Revel Dance Convention. Laney traveled with Revel for two seasons and assisted outstanding faculty, worked competition, trained and took classes, and performed in opening and closing shows with faculty and other Pro Revelers. She learned so much through this experience, gained knowledge from the faculty, and worked hard to improve her technique, style, and performance. This fall, Laney will be a sophomore at Kent State University! She is an Early Childhood Education major and plans to become an Elementary Teacher post graduation, while still continuing her career as a dance instructor and choreographer! Laney has a passion that continues to grow for shaping her students into well rounded, confident, kind, and hard working individuals. She strives to ensure each child is given the proper foundation and support system to thrive. Not only as a dancer, but as a person!
