Lieneke began her training at the prestigious School of American Ballet in New York City and LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts(The Fame school). She then went on to attend SUNY Purchase College for a BFA in Dance. Lieneke graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the President’s Award for the dance department.
Following college she joined Verb Ballets (now Ohio Contemporary Ballet). During her 10 years with the company she performed a variety of repertoire including works by Heinz Poll, Jose Limon, Antonio Brown, and Richard Dickinson to name a few. Ms.Matte is experienced in numerous forms of concert dance, but especially loves teaching ballet and pointe. She is so grateful to be a part of the AADBK team and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love for dance with all her students.
