McGee is originally from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She grew up at All About Dance by Kristen from the age of two and was a part of the competitive team and the student assistant program for many years. Throughout her years competing at competitions and attending conventions, she had earned many awards and scholarships. McGee was a Pro-Reveler Assistant for Revel Dance Convention and assisted the faculty during the 2018-2019 tour. McGee was also a part of Revel staff as an Event Specialist and later as an Event Supervisor for 3 years touring the U.S. Throughout these years McGee had the opportunity to meet, work with, and train with some of the top professionals in the industry. McGee is currently an apprentice for Tap into the Network, which allows her to tour, study and learn under the direction of Angela Carter and Ryan Lohoff. She is currently being mentored by Angela Carter, Valerie Rockey, and Liz Guerrieri. In 2019, Miss McGee started choreographing and teaching and has since fallen in love with it. McGee currently teaches at All About Dance by Kristen and Soul Inspired Dance Complex. During the 2021-2022 dance season, McGee was awarded several choreography awards and her pieces received many top overalls. She is currently traveling and choreographing for studios all over the country. McGee joined the Beyond the Stars Dance Convention Faculty this upcoming season. She is passionate and hopes to share her knowledge and love for dance. McGee is YPAD certified and understands the importance of having a safe environment for students and dancers. She is in her fourth year at the University of Akron, working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
